I'm on Substack

I've taken the plunge and started writing about my cancer journey on Substack. Yes, I will continue to write about it here as surviving cancer has become, and will remain a big part of my life. But Substack gives me the chance to create both public content and some more private words that I'll save for subscribers.

It's called Semicolon Survival.

If today is like every other day in recent memory, 5,500 Americans will be diagnosed with cancer and their lives will never be the same. That’s more than 2 million men, women and kids per year and odds are that if you are not among them, you at least know some of them.

If that’s the case, I hope my story offers you two simple, yet important benefits: hope and healing.

If somehow, you’ve managed to completely avoid cancer or any other significant health condition, thank your lucky stars and use my essays either as an inspirational read on a Sunday afternoon or as a survival guide for everyday life.
